We fit around the build programme, turning up when we say we will for first fix and returning promptly for second fix, so we're never the trade holding things up. If you're managing the project yourself, we'll tell you exactly when we need to be on site and what has to be ready.

For commercial extensions, mezzanines and new units we can install distribution boards, sub-mains, lighting, small power and supplies for machinery and equipment, all designed around how the space will be used.

When should I involve an electrician in my extension?
As early as possible, ideally before building work starts. That way we can check supply capacity, plan cable routes and agree positions before first fix.
Can you work with my existing builder?
Yes. Most of our extension work is done alongside the customer's chosen builder. We coordinate directly with them on timings.
Do extension electrics need to be signed off?
New circuits are notifiable under Part P. As NAPIT members we self-certify the work and register it with building control, and you'll receive the certificates for your records.
