Who we are

Sparky Solutions Group Ltd ("Sparky Solutions", "we", "us") is an electrical contractor based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at info@sparkysolutions.co.uk or on 07738 271863.

What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, location, the type of customer you are, the service you're interested in and any details you include in your message. When you contact us by phone or email we keep a record of the conversation where it's needed to deal with your enquiry or carry out work.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
• To arrange, carry out and certify electrical work
• To issue invoices and keep records we're legally required to keep

Our lawful bases are your consent (for enquiries), the steps needed to enter into and perform a contract with you, and our legal obligations, for example tax records and electrical certification.

Sharing your information

We don't sell your data. We only share it where necessary, for example with building control or our competent person scheme (NAPIT) when registering notifiable work, with our accountants, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Customer and certification records are kept for as long as needed for legal, insurance and warranty purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us to make a request. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
